Tonya is a dedicated mental health professional and a member of the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She has served as an adjunct professor at Xavier University in the Master of Counseling Program and has published several articles on mental health. Tonya actively collaborates with community leaders on mental health education and suicide prevention, serves as a board member of 988, hosts a mental health podcast, and recently began working with the National Board for The Counselor Compact.
