I earned my Master of Arts in Agency & Community Counseling from Xavier University, and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wittenberg University. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC), and I have worked in the mental health field for nearly 15 years.
I believe that each person has the power to make positive choices and the ability to transform one’s own life. My goal is to facilitate growth through a caring approach that balances processing core issues, exploring feelings and making a plan for change. Therapy is a collaborative process and through hope and hard work, personal goals can be realized.
I have therapeutic experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Additionally, I specialize in treating individuals and families attempting to cope with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, autism spectrum disorders and anxiety. Conflict is common in families, and I focus on helping families improve their pattern of communication and put into practice more effective coping strategies.
